MARKETING AND EVENT MANAGER vacancy

Main Responsibilities The Marketing and Event Manager, under the guidance of the Executive Director will have responsibility for; • Marketing the property to local and international clients through individuals and group presentations, meetings, seminars, trade shows and other promotional activities. • Develop and implement a program of continuous development and maintenance for the Mansion and its contents. • Updating information on client files (computerized and manual) so it is accessible to all authorized users. • Identify the needs of clients, communicate them to relevant internal units and follow up action taken. • Representing the company at various functions locally and externally. • The Marketing and Event Manager also has responsibility for planning and preparing exhibits aimed at enhancing the visibility and viability of the house. Qualification and Experience • A degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management. • Three years experience in a similar position Computer literacy • Training in Marketing, Sales and Promotion techniques • Knowledge in the design of galleries and exhibition on a National and global level • Good oral and written communication skills.
